Resizing is only possible with stacking rings and sterling/brass/copper rings and will incur shipping costs to and from Argent Silversmith. For all other rings, an exchange is possible, but will involve another 2 weeks' manufacturing time and incur shipping costs to and from Argent Silversmith.

CARE

From opals to freshwater pearls, Argent pieces are delicate and precious and care should be taken when worn so as to avoid knocking or catching.

Sterling and fine silver

Sterling and fine silver can be scratched or bent out of shape if force is applied. They can also be damaged and become tarnished by contact with chemicals found in many household cleaners, cosmetics, perfumes and hair care products.  If tarnishing occurs clean with a silver polishing cloth or polishing compound.

Copper and Brass

Copper and brass generally tarnish due to exposure to oxygen as well as the aforementioned products. If tarnishing occurs rub with nail buffer block or polishing compound.

Freshwater Pearls

Freshwater pearls are an organic gem requiring specific care that will ensure their longevity. They can be damaged by contact with chemicals found in many household cleaners, cosmetics, perfumes and hair care products. Pearls should not be submerged in water whilst showering or swimming. Clean with a soft cloth.

Opals

Opals are a soft stone (same hardness as glass) therefore exceptional care must be taken of these gems. They can be damaged by contact with chemicals found in many household cleaners, cosmetics, perfumes and hair care products. Opals should not be submerged in water whilst showering or swimming. Clean with a soft damp cloth.

Wood

From red ironbark to blackwood, all reclaimed timber used in Argent pieces have been hand sanded, buffed and polished with natural plant-based Danish oil. In order to maintain highest quality avoid all contact with water and humidity as well as chemicals found in many household cleaners, cosmetics, perfumes and hair care products. Clean with a soft cloth and if wood loses its shine use natural plant oil product to attain natural patina results.
